Hilo may be the second largest town/city in Hawaii, but it sure doesn’t feel like it. Maybe its the agricultural flair (or lack thereof). Maybe its the slow-moving pace of life. Maybe its just the fact that at about 100,000 people, Hilo is still about 1/10th the size of the only city larger than it (Honolulu).
